ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEE

As per the notification no. F.No.37-3/Legal/2009 dated 01/07/2009, from AICTE New Delhi and Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1999, the following Anti-Ragging Committee is constituted for the two years 2024-2025 to 2026-2027. to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging in and outside the campus of School of Pharmacy and Research Centre, Baramati.

STUDENT GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEE

This is to inform to all staff member and Students that in compliance with the UCG’s directive for prevention of Student problems in Higher Educational Institutions, a Committee with the following members is hereby constituted for 2024-25-2026-2027. The Committee shall deal with complaints from Students, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, parents, interested party etc.

Gender Sensitization Cell

Main objective of Gender Sensitization cell is:
1. To make the young boys and girls’ gender sensitive and create positive values that supports the girls and their rights.
2. To provide overall guidance to the peer group in integrating/mainstreaming gender in all activities of the Institution in the form of focused group discussions, debates, poster making competitions etc.
3. To provide an integrated and interdisciplinary approach to understand the social and cultural constructions of gender that shapes the experiences of women and men in society.
4. To generate the awareness in regard to equality in law, social system and democratic activities.
5. It will hold awareness sessions in order to create safe and healthy environment in the University for All Genders, particularly women and transgender (if any).

To overcome gender inequalities, the following aspects have to be developed:
6. Individuals need to be more open-minded, rational and unbiased in their thoughts and actions
7. Better reconciliation of work and private life for both women and men is essential to gender equality
8. There is an urgent need to shatter the load of our orthodox beliefs and biased values to accentuate the progressive existence of both the genders
9. Training and awareness-raising in educational set- up, at workplace and in society can eliminate gender-based prejudice and thereby change stereotyped working cultures as regards to the roles and abilities of women and men, including attitude towards women in leadership positions.



Anti - Discrimination Cell

This is to inform to all the staff members & students that in compliance with the UGC’s directive for preventives for prevention of caste based discrimination in Higher Educational Institutions, a committee with the complaints of any act of discrimination against SC/ST students /teachers /non -teaching staff or any other type of discrimination based on caste, creed, religion etc. Anti discrimination Cell has been constituted foe Academic year 2024-2025 to 2026-2027
